My life version 53.0

After a two year life in Illinois north of Chicago I find myself in Northern Virginia. I had actually started this design of the website back in Illinois about well two years after we moved there. Of course I put the work on hold and made this our new website for Virginia.

Thankfully a much warmer place than the frozen tundra of Illinois. I believe the cost of homes here (and we are in a small town) in Northern Virginia are comparable to homes in the SF Bay Area. Our home is in a small development of what will be about 28 homes. In time our neighborhood will be gated. We did not know this when we bought.

I still work at home doing my webmastering and graphic work. I can do more gardening here even though the yard here is much smaller. It's a longer growing season and keeping up with the lawn in Illinois was about all I could do there, it was a big yard.

Most of our core group of friends from California have already come out to see us. Thank god for old friends.

Email hasn't been something on my webpages lately but you can EMAIL here.
And yes, I still create my web work in notepad or wordpad. If you are wondering where I came up with this colorful design I was inspired by Cirque Du Soleil-Varekai. Which we saw in Chicago before we left.

Move over France Armstrong, Hank and Paul have new bikes. Here I'm tearing up the W&OD bike trail. This trail runs form Purcellville where we live to Arlington VA. From there you can catch another trail into D. C. That's about 45 miles away, so we'll be in training for the next, mmmm.... 5 years.

From the look on my face here a ride to D.C. may never happen :o( .

The trail goes through the rual horse country of Northern VA.

Oh man, all this beautiful grazing land for the equestrian horses. The big historic homes, gas eating SUV's. I feel, well........ like I could become a Republican. Bushie, your doing a hic of a job there cowboy dude.
